Aquaboulevard is gloriously, unapologetically big. Sprawling across the 15th arrondissement under the Forest Hill banner, it combines a full-scale water park — wave pools, 11 water slides, a sandy indoor beach — with a serious sports and fitness complex that includes 5 padel courts, 7 tennis courts, a gym, and over 300 group classes per week. It's the kind of place that shouldn't work as a wellness recommendation, and yet it absolutely does, because sometimes wellness is just having a ridiculously good time with your body. The thermal side is more substantial than the water park reputation suggests. Three saunas and a hammam provide proper heat therapy in a dedicated zone that feels separate from the splashing and sliding. The sauna temperatures are correct, the hammam steam is thick, and the transition between them offers a genuine contrast experience. It won't win any design awards — the aesthetic is functional recreation centre, not Scandi minimalism — but the sweat is real and the relaxation is genuine. What makes Aquaboulevard a social wellness standout is the sheer diversity of ways to be active together. Padel with friends, aqua fitness with strangers, a tennis league on Tuesday evenings, water slides with kids on Saturday, sauna sessions alone on Sunday morning. The €25–€40 day pass makes it radically accessible, and the crowd reflects that: every age, every body type, every neighbourhood. It's wellness at scale, democratic and loud and completely unpretentious.
